About the Northern Ohio Half Marathon, 2-Person Relay, & 5K
The course runs through Headlands Beach State Park, tracing the Lake Erie shoreline with autumn foliage on the other side. It winds through the park rather than going out and back on a straight path, so there is scenery to look at beyond the road ahead. Distance options range from the half marathon and its relay format down to the shorter run.
Packet pickup the day before is at a local running store in Mentor, with race-morning pickup available at the park starting well before the gun. The start area is at the beach state park, so parking and staging are spread across the grounds there.
