About the Mentor Softball Home Run Hustle
The race starts and finishes at a high school baseball stadium, which gives the morning a distinct character. The course goes out into the surrounding neighborhood streets before returning, and the stadium setting means there is a real finish-line moment coming back through the gates. Age group awards are signed home plates and branded softballs, which fits the theme well.
Registration opens early on race morning, so you do not need to arrive the night before. Awards are handled through a QR code at a tent near the finish, and post-race refreshments are set up nearby.
