About the NM SUNFLOWER RUN
The course runs point-to-point from a school to a winery in the Village of Los Ranchos, finishing on the winery grounds. The route is flat, so there is not much to manage beyond pace. The surroundings shift from neighborhood streets to the more intimate setting of the winery as you close in on the finish.
Packet pickup is the afternoon before the race at a local running store. Parking is at the school where the race starts, not at the winery, and there is no street parking near the finish either. After you cross the line, there is wine at the winery, and a barbecue is available as a separate add-on.
