About the Nightmare on Main 5k
This is a Halloween night race that runs Main Street in Morehead, hosted by the university ROTC program. Costumes are part of the deal, and the atmosphere reflects that. Awards go to top performers, so there is real competition alongside the Halloween spirit. The course is a straightforward road run through the heart of town.
Bib pickup opens well before the evening start, giving you time to settle in. Registration is available on race day as well. The race is staged at Battson Oates Common, which serves as the gathering point for check-in and post-race activity.
