About the Nightmare on Cage Blvd. 5K

This is a Halloween-themed race that runs along Cage Blvd after dark, with costumes strongly encouraged. Zombies and monsters are part of the course experience, so expect characters lurking along the route. The race starts as the sun goes down, which gives the whole thing a genuinely spooky atmosphere rather than just a seasonal name.

Packet pickup happens at the Jose Pepe Salinas Recreation Center on Kelly Ave in the days before the race. Age group awards cover a wide spread, from young kids through older adults, with trophies for the youngest finishers.
