About the 2027 Newnan's Lake 15k
The course runs along the roads that skirt Newnan's Lake, starting and finishing at a park boat ramp off Hawthorne Road. It is flat the whole way, and the lake stays close enough that you are running alongside it for most of the route. The surroundings are open and quiet, more natural than urban.
Packet pickup and registration have historically been handled online rather than through paper forms, so sorting your entry out ahead of race day is the way to go. Post-race, age group awards go deep into the field, with hardware for the top finishers across a wide range of brackets, plus overall and masters awards.
