About the New Years Day 5K & Half Marathon

The courses run out of North Forsyth Middle School and stay mostly flat, making for quick times on New Year's Day. There are a couple of distance options, and the organizers are upfront that the signage does the navigating, so it pays to preview the route and watch for markers rather than follow the crowd.

Packet pickup opens on race morning about an hour before the first wave goes off, with an early pickup option the evening before at the school's bus parking lot. Both distances start from the same site, so there is one place to park and one place to be.
