About the 2027 New Years 3/6 Mile Run & Pup Strut
The course runs through a park off Kuser Road, starting and finishing near a covered pavilion by the skate park. Dogs are welcome on the course, which makes the atmosphere a little chaotic in the best sense. There are separate distance options, so people spread out quickly and the pace of the morning varies a lot. Empanadas from a local vendor wait at the finish.
Packet pickup runs the afternoon before at a running store, with race-morning pickup available at the start area. Parking is in one of several lots inside the park entrance on Kuser Road. The start area is past the skate park, so follow the road in until you see the pavilion.
