About the NEON Night 5K Run/Walk - A Paint the Town Pink Event

This is an evening race through downtown Richmond, run after dark with participants dressed in neon colors. The course follows city streets, so the surroundings are urban and the atmosphere comes from the crowd and the glow rather than scenery. The race supports cancer care patients in the area, which gives the night a purpose beyond the run itself.
