About the NCS Take the Hill 5K & Kids Fun Run

The course runs through the school's cross country trail, mixing open fields, paved campus roads, and narrow wooded paths. There is one hill that earns the race its name, steep enough that strollers and pets are turned away. Marshals and school cross country runners are positioned throughout, and the course requires some attention, especially where the path narrows through the trees.

Packet pickup the day before is at a local running store on Franklin Road. If you miss it, there is a race-morning table near the spirit rock just inside the main school entrance. Parking is free but fills up, so arriving early gives you time to walk down to the starting field near the red barn.
