The course winds through Audubon Park along a paved trail that follows a creek through a stretch of actual forest. It is not a loop around open grass; the trees close in around you for most of it, and the trail bends with the water. Color powder gets thrown at runners somewhere along the route, so you finish looking like a chalk explosion.
