About the Myrtle Beach Memorial Weekend 5K
The course loops around Broadway at the Beach, the large outdoor shopping and entertainment complex in Myrtle Beach, and the route is flat throughout. The race has a memorial feel rather than a competitive one, held over Memorial Day weekend in honor of fallen service members, and walkers and runners share the course. A shorter remembrance walk runs alongside the main event.
Packet pickup happens the afternoon before at a local shop, with a second window on race morning before the start. Parking is in the surrounding lots at Broadway at the Beach, and restrooms are available around the complex. Registration is online only and closes early on race morning.
