About the Mutt Strut 5K and 1-Mile Walk and Run

The race starts at Tanglewood Park, at an outdoor concert shell, and the course is open to people running with their dogs. Dog contests run alongside the race, so there is plenty of reason to stick around after you finish. Local food trucks are on site, and vendors set up near the start area. The whole event benefits Forsyth Humane Society.

There is a second packet pickup location the evening before the race at a car dealership in Winston-Salem. Tell the receptionist at the front desk why you are there and they will get you sorted. Race-morning pickup is available at the park itself.
