About the MUSH Fort Custer Dryland
This is a dryland mushing race held at Fort Custer, a state park, so you will need a Michigan Recreation Passport to enter. The course runs through park trails, and the final stretch is notably narrow, which the organizers take seriously enough to have moved the finish line to prevent head-on passing. Class options cover canicross, bike, and scooter rigs, from junior to open. Mileage can shift depending on conditions.
Drivers are expected to follow trail signage and manage their team's pace accordingly. A makeup date exists if weather forces a postponement. A MUSH membership is required to enter, and entries close a few days before race day.
