About the Mt. McLane 5K and Fun Run
The course starts on the fifty-yard line of McLane Stadium, heads out to the Riverwalk along the river, and crosses a suspension bridge before looping back. The finish is the memorable part: you climb up into the stadium and cross the line at the top, with the whole bowl opening around you.
The shorter fun run follows a similar idea, circling the outer perimeter of the stadium before making that same climb to the finish at the top. Both distances share that unusual ending, which makes the finish feel different from a typical road race.
