About the Chupacabra Trail Run
The Chupacabra Trail Run runs through Cameron Park, a wooded stretch along the Waco riverfront with rooty, winding singletrack. It is the closing race of a local trail series, so a good number of familiar faces tend to show up. The course is foot traffic only, no dogs or strollers.
Packet pickup the evening before is at a local running shop in Waco, with race-morning pickup available at the Redwood Shelter in Cameron Park before the start. The shelter also serves as the finish area.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
