About the MSFC Safety Day 5K
This race runs on Redstone Arsenal, a working military installation, which shapes the whole experience. The course is on base grounds, and anyone without existing Arsenal access has to arrange a recreational pass ahead of time through the Garrison's Visitor Center, bringing a Real ID compliant driver's license. Plan ahead, because the pass office is closed on weekends and race day will not be the time to sort it out.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Sep 10, 2026.
