About the MRT 2027 2 Mile
This race takes place at the Statesville Soccer Complex, so the terrain is flat and open, the kind of ground that rewards a hard, honest effort without much technical challenge. It is part of a season-long points series, with awards going to overall leaders, masters runners, and age groups at each event.
The series structure means regulars show up again and again across the year, building a familiar crowd at the complex. Prize money goes to the top finishers in the overall championship standings. No dogs are allowed on the grounds.
