About the MOWest PTA Club "Fall into Fitness" 5K Run/Walk
The course winds through the Missouri Western State University campus, passing open green spaces and landmarks along the way. The terrain is campus pathways, so the footing is even and the surroundings are pleasant. It is a fundraiser for the university's Physical Therapist Assistant Club, which gives the morning a student-run, neighborly feel rather than a race-organization feel.
The race starts on campus, so parking and the start area are close together by nature. The event draws students, families, and community members, and the post-race atmosphere reflects that mix.
