About the Morgantown Running 5K Turkey Trot + Kids 800m Turkey Fun Run
The course starts on the blue track near the WVU Coliseum, where you run nearly a full lap before heading out onto Mon Boulevard. From there it is downhill past Mountain State to a light, then a couple of turns bring you onto Leeway Street. After passing a Sheetz, you drop onto a rail trail that carries you to the finish at the Seneca Center.
Parking is available at both the start and the finish, and a shuttle connects the two before and after the race, so you can leave your car at either end without worry. No dogs are allowed. There is also a kids fun run on the same track where the main race begins, for younger children who want their own moment before the adults head out.
