About the Montgomery Half Marathon and 5K
The course begins on Tallapoosa Street, near a prominent water tower, and ends inside Riverwalk Stadium. That stadium finish gives the half marathon a distinct close, arriving somewhere rather than crossing a line on an empty block. The route moves through downtown Montgomery, so there is city around you most of the way.
Packet pickup is the evening before at a local running store, and that is also your only window to switch distances. Downtown parking meters are turned off on race morning, and several parking decks sit within easy walking distance of both the start and finish.
