About the Missouri State University Inspire the Roar 5K
The course winds through the Missouri State University campus, so the route itself is the tour. Expect paved paths past academic buildings and open green spaces rather than roads or trails. The finish is back at the campus recreation center, where there are snacks and a recovery area waiting. Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome on course.
Packet pickup runs the evening before the race at the recreation center, with a second window on race morning before the start. The start and finish are both at the same building, which keeps logistics simple if you are bringing family along for Family Weekend.

The Missouri State University Inspire the Roar 5K has been held every year since at least 2025. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
