About the Running From Squatch - Springfield, MO
The course runs outside of Springfield on roads, with real hills throughout and occasional flat stretches in between. The theme is Sasquatch, and costumes are encouraged, so expect plenty of fur and footprints at the start. Several distance options are available, from a short sprint up to a half marathon, plus a combined challenge that strings all the distances together.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at Fleet Feet Springfield, with a second pickup window at the race site on the morning of the event. Post-race festivities open shortly after the early finishers come through, with award ceremonies spread across the morning as each group wraps up.
