About the Great Gobbler 5K
The race starts at Nashua High School South on Thanksgiving morning, heading down Riverside Street before looping back. It draws a wide mix of people, from cross country alumni to families starting the holiday with a run. Snow is not unheard of, and the race has gone on through it before, which tells you something about the crowd.
Bib pickup happens the evening before the race, at the school. The cafeteria also serves as a drop-off point for canned goods, collected for a local soup kitchen and shelter, both the day before and on race morning.
