The race starts and finishes at a grocery market on Starkey Boulevard, with several distance options so runners and walkers can pick what suits them. The course is a morning road run with a charitable purpose, all proceeds going to a children's hospital. Dogs are welcome on the course, which gives the whole thing a neighborhood outing feel.
After finishing, there is beer for adults and soft drinks alongside light bites from the market itself. Packet pickup has no day-of option, so plan to collect your bib ahead of time.
