About the Miles For Mutts
The course runs through Wilson Farm Park, a public park in Wayne. The run follows a road and path layout that is generally flat and suitable for most paces. Dogs are welcome on the course, and you will likely see plenty of them. The race benefits a local dog rescue, so the crowd skews heavily toward people who showed up with their pets.
Check-in is set up near the pavilion, close to the basketball and volleyball courts. Before the run begins, there is a vendor area and a chance to meet adoptable dogs. An awards ceremony and a costume contest follow the race, and adoptable pups stick around well into the late morning.

The Miles For Mutts has been held every year since at least 2020. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
