About the Miles for Moore
The race starts and finishes at a middle school, with proceeds going directly to that school's parent-teacher organization. The route runs through the neighborhood streets nearby. A short fun run for younger kids follows the main event, starting once the bulk of the field has come in. Strollers are welcome on both courses.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at the school, with another window the morning of before the start. The school grounds serve as the staging area, so there is a familiar, campus-style layout to the whole morning.
