About the Miles for Missions Raffle Run/Walk
This one is unusual. Instead of following a marked course, you navigate on your own through a park, hunting down raffle ticket stations scattered along the trails. The goal is to hit as many as you can within the time limit, then return to the start. More tickets mean more chances at prizes, but everyone has a shot regardless of how far they roam.
Packet pickup is available the evening before at a local running store, with an option to pick up at the park shelter before the run begins. The post-race raffle is the main event afterward, with prizes ranging from gift cards and craft beer to local art and gift baskets.
