About the Midwest Financial Group Madison Mini Marathon

The route winds through the heart of the city, passing the Capitol Square, State Street, and Camp Randall Stadium before moving through the university campus, the Arboretum, and out to Picnic Point. It is a road course that covers a lot of what makes Madison recognizable, with water visible in stretches and a mix of urban streets and quieter paths.

The post-race party takes place at a spot on Lake Mendota, with live music and views of the water. Runners of drinking age can pick up a beer from Wisconsin Distributors; soft drinks and water are available for everyone.
