About the Midway Shelter Winter Run / Walk ~ 5k, 10k and Kids Run
The course runs along the shoreline of Bay Farm Island, starting at the Harbor Bay Ferry Terminal. The first half goes out on a road with lanes closed to traffic, and the return leg comes back on a waterside trail. Views across the bay toward San Francisco stay with you most of the way. The route is flat throughout.
Packet pickup runs the day before the race at a local shop on Park Street, with race-morning registration opening before the first wave goes off. The ferry terminal parking lot has room for the field. Snacks and drinks are set out at the finish.
