About the Memorial 5K Run
The course starts and finishes in The Village and winds through Big Bear Lake neighborhoods at high altitude. Rolling hills are the norm throughout, so expect your legs to know about it. On clear stretches you get views of the lake and the surrounding mountains, and the thin air makes itself known early, especially for runners coming up from lower elevations.
Bib pickup runs across the two days before the race at The Yellow Post on Pine Knot Ave, with same-day registration available on race morning. Post-race, there is an awards ceremony back in The Village after the field finishes.
