About the Melt The Trail
The course starts at a brewery taproom and heads out onto the Monon Trail, crossing a bridge along the way. It is a winter run, so expect cold air and whatever the season brings underfoot. The route is a paved trail through Westfield, and the out-and-back shape keeps things straightforward.
Packet pickup opens well before the start, with on-site registration available up until shortly before the gun. After the race, food is available for purchase at Grand Junction Brewing Co., and there is a free drink ticket for runners of legal age.

The Melt The Trail has been held every year since at least 2022. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Oct 18, 2026.
