About the MCXC 5K
The course runs on a paved trail through White Hall State Historic Site, a property with enough history that the surroundings give the run some character beyond a typical road race. It is a fundraiser for a local high school cross country team, so the crowd skews toward families and coaches with a stake in the outcome. Several distance options are available.
On-site registration is open race morning, which takes some pressure off the week before. After finishing, there are light refreshments at the pavilion on the grounds.
