About the McKenzie Mott Memorial Turkey Trot
This race started as a family gathering to honor a teenage daughter lost too soon, and that origin still shapes the morning. It benefits a safe driving scholarship for local high school seniors, so the cause is close and specific. The course runs out of Pavilion Park, a public park in Liberty Lake.
Packet pickup runs on the two evenings before the race at Selkirk Middle School, with race-morning check-in available at the park itself before the start. Parking is at two nearby elementary schools, both within easy reach of the start area at the park's northeast corner.
