About the Matawan Borough 20th Annual 5K Turkey Trot & Fitness Walk
The course starts and finishes on Main Street, so the start line and the finish line are the same stretch of road. It is a certified course, which matters if you are chasing a personal best. The race draws families and returning runners, and proceeds go toward local parks and recreation programs.
Packet pickup runs the afternoon before at the Municipal and Community Center on Broad Street, with race-morning pickup available as well. The Mayor and Recreation Commissioner hand out awards at the finish, which gives the post-race gathering a neighborhood-meeting feel.
