The course runs along the Lake Michigan shoreline on an out-and-back route, heading north from Manitowoc toward Two Rivers and back. The terrain is flat the whole way, with the lake in view for much of the run. Several distance options are available, from a short nautical-themed run up through a full marathon, and a relay option makes it workable for groups.
