About the Mansfield and Lexington Turkey Trot

The course runs along the B&O Railway Trail behind Heartland Church, a paved historic rail trail that keeps things flat and straightforward. Several distance options mean you can go long or keep it short, and the race runs rain, snow, or shine, which feels right for a Thanksgiving morning. Strollers are welcome on course, and dogs can wait at the finish.

Packet pickup the evening before at Heartland Church is the easier option, and race-morning pickup opens there as well before the start. The finish area has pie, donuts, and cookies on hand, which is a reasonable reward after running before your Thanksgiving meal.
