About the Lynn Woods Relay
The race runs through Lynn Woods, a large municipal park in Lynn. Each runner on a team completes the same loop through the woods, then hands off to the next teammate. The terrain is trail, so expect roots and uneven ground rather than pavement. The format makes it social without slowing anyone down who wants to push.
The race starts in the early evening, and the organizers recommend arriving well ahead of time to park, find your team, and warm up. A team tent with food and refreshments is set up and available throughout the afternoon and after the race wraps up.
