About the Haven Project 5k
The course runs through Lynn Woods Reservation, one of the larger urban forest reservations in the region. Expect actual trail running here: rooted paths, tree cover, and terrain that shifts underfoot. The race benefits a local organization supporting housing-unstable young adults, so the field tends to draw people who came as much for the cause as for the miles.
After the finish, food trucks and local vendors set up outside, and there are activities that make the post-race area feel more like a neighborhood gathering than a race wrap-up. Dogs are welcome.
