About the Lucky 5K/10K/Half Marathon - Phoenix
The race runs through Glendale Heroes Regional Park on a course that is mostly flat with just enough gentle variation to keep it interesting. It is a shamrock-themed event, so expect green everywhere in the crowd. Several distance options share the same route, with the half marathon covering a couple of loops of it. Self-serve water stations are spaced out along the course.
Early packet pickup happens the evening before at The Nest Sports Bar and Grill on Thunderbird Road in Glendale. If you miss that, pickup opens at the race site about an hour before the first wave goes off. The staggered start means the park fills gradually through the morning rather than all at once.
