About the LUCHA RUN
The course runs on the Fresno City College campus, flat the whole way, starting and finishing near the Veterans Peace Memorial Area. Runners doing the longer distance loop the course twice, so the terrain and surroundings stay consistent throughout. The costume element is built into the event, and luchador masks and outfits are common on the starting line.
Bib pickup runs the afternoon before at a local running store, with race-morning pickup on campus as well. Kids races go off before the main start. Afterward, there are tacos, hot chocolate, and pan dulce at the finish, and a live Lucha Libre wrestling match wraps up the morning.
