The course runs on dirt roads through the vineyard itself, weaving around the vines with several turns and some rolling hills along the way. Arrow signs keep you on track. At the finish, there is wine. The whole thing is set against the views of the winery grounds, which gives it a different feel from a road race in town.
Packet pickup is race morning only, opening before the first wave goes off. Strollers are permitted, and minors can participate alongside adults.
