About the 10th Annual LTEF Hill Country Turkey Trot
The longer course winds through the fairways and grounds of a private golf club, which gives it a different feel from a typical road race. The turf and cart paths cut through manicured open land, and the scenery shifts as the route bends around the course. A shorter option covers a smaller loop on the same grounds, so the whole group runs in the same place.
Packet pickup runs the evening before the race at Hill Country Indoor. The start and finish are at The Hills Country Club, so parking and logistics center around the club grounds. Dogs on leash are welcome on the course, and strollers are common enough that you will not be the only one pushing one.
