The course runs through The Domain, a mixed-use shopping and entertainment district in Austin, with streets blocked off to traffic for the morning. The race benefits Mothers Against Drunk Driving, and the atmosphere leans toward families, with Santa hats and jingle bells in the crowd. Pets are not permitted on the course.
Packet pickup is the day before at Fleet Feet Gateway, with race-morning pickup also available if you allow extra time. Parking in the surrounding garages is your best option, since the street in front of the start is closed.
