About the Low Key Turkey Trot

The course runs on the Capital Trail, a paved path that keeps things smooth underfoot. Both distance options are available, and the race uses a staggered release at the start so the trail does not get crowded. Timing is chip-based, so your clock only runs when you are actually moving.

The race is held Thanksgiving morning at Indian Fields Tavern and 5 Fields Brewing Co. Packet pickup opens before the start. There is a finish-line beer waiting when you come in, which fits the occasion about as well as anything could.
