About the Love in Motion 2 Mile Walk/Run
This is a short walk/run in Venice put on by a local nonprofit. The event is built around honoring someone, whether that person is still in your life or not. Participants can submit a name to be recognized during the event, so there is a personal thread running through the whole morning alongside the physical one.
All proceeds go toward scholarships the Victoria Strauss Foundation awards in dance and education, along with hardship support and mental health outreach. It is a race that has a reason behind it beyond the finish line.
