About the Louisville's Annual Ugly Sweater Fun Run/Walk
The course runs road routes through Cherokee Park, starting and finishing near Hogan's Fountain. There are several distance options, so people tend to spread out across the park. It is untimed and open to all paces, and festive gear is encouraged, though not required. Jogging strollers and dogs on leashes are both welcome out on the course.
The start area is at Hogan's Fountain, where a group photo is taken before things get moving. Afterward, there are donuts, cookies, a hot chocolate bar, and coffee and tea on-site. A Brooks shoe demo tent gives you a chance to try new footwear on the course. Raffles happen in the pavilion nearby, and free race photos are posted after the event.
