About the Locust Lucky Leprechaun 5K Run/Walk - 7th Annual
The course runs through Locust Town Center and into the surrounding neighborhood. It is mostly flat with just enough roll to keep it interesting. The race leans into St. Patrick's Day hard: green everything, costumed runners, prizes for the best-dressed leprechaun. Proceeds go to the local senior center, which sits right in the town center area.
Packet pickup runs the morning before the race at the West Stanly Senior Center in Locust Town Center, with race-day pickup also available. There are door prizes and post-race sweets from a local bakery called Sassy Cakes at the finish.
