About the Locust Elfie 5K Run/Walk

The course runs through the Town Center and into the surrounding neighborhood. The organizer describes it as fast with gentle rolling, so expect mostly flat ground with just enough variation to keep it interesting. Costumes are part of the culture here; runners show up in Christmas gear, and there are prizes for the best-dressed.

Packet pickup runs the day before at a senior center in the Town Center. Race-day pickup is available too, but earlier pickup is encouraged to keep things moving at the start. Parking lots sit behind the Town Center buildings; the organizer asks runners to avoid spaces along the course to keep the route clear for everyone.
