About the Little Sisters of the Poor NUN RUN 5K and 1 Mile Run/Walk
The course runs on the quad of a university campus, which keeps the terrain open and relatively flat. The race benefits a local home for the elderly run by a religious order, so the crowd tends to skew toward families and parish groups rather than competitive runners chasing times. There are a couple of distance options, one a short walk-friendly route and one the longer run.
